Francesco Pellisari — Visionary Acoustic Designer

Francesco Pellisari is an Italian acoustic designer
and founder of New Acoustic Concept (nacsound®), a practice dedicated to redefining how sound interacts with space through design, science,
and aesthetics. Since establishing nacsound®
in 1997, he has pioneered patented technologies based on omnidirectional, non-coherent sound waves, creating immersive acoustic experiences
that feel natural, spatial, and emotionally engaging.

With an innovative and experimental mindset, Pellisari approaches sound as an integral dimension of architecture and design — not merely as technical output. His work spans acoustic consultancy, custom sound systems, and sculptural speaker design,
all developed with precision and creative audacity
to challenge conventional norms. 

Throughout his career he has worked across disciplines and collaborated with influential designers and researchers, including Roy Allison — one of the leading acousticians of the 20th century — as well as internationally respected design figures such as Ron Arad and Ingo Maurer. His projects
and systems have been exhibited in major cultural institutions and published globally, bringing together art, technology, and acoustic innovation.
